Goals to Benefit Farmers

Man Inspects Corn

Our Commitment

We’re committed to enriching the lives of those who produce. We set forth goals to improve farmers’ livelihoods and operations while conserving resources and sustaining the land. Our 10-year commitments will provide tools and training to increase yield stability, optimize inputs, and improve climate resilience.

Our 2030 Goals

Provide Training to Farmers

Provide training to 25 million farmers on soil health, nutrient and water stewardship, and productivity best practices by 2030.

We’re expanding the ways we share information about the latest advances and technology with farmers.

Enrich the Lives of Smallholder Farmers

Increase the productivity, incomes, and sustainable farming practices of 500 million smallholder farmers cumulatively through 2030.

Up to 80 percent of the food supply in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa is produced by smallholder farmers. We’re committed to providing them with access to tools, solutions, and agronomic support.

Decrease Greenhouse Gas Emissions while Increasing Yields

Enable farmers to sustainably increase crop yields by 20 percent while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 20 percent within cropping systems compared to 2020.

We’re delivering best practices and innovations to advance productivity, while protecting our planet.

Farmers are the first to face an ever-changing landscape, while constantly striving for higher yield, resilience and desirability. Our priority is the success of the farmer. Because when producers thrive, our world thrives.
